Today in the 8th grade:
Me: So Canada has a really small population for such a large country. There are only about 32-33 million Canadians. It’s strange because Canada is one of the world’s largest countries.
Concerned Student: Why are there so few people?
Me: I think it’s mostly because Canada is still a very young country with a difficult climate.
Concerned Student: So Canadians have a lot of sexual problems?
Me: I’m sorry. What?
Student: Canada has so few people because it’s too cold for them to have sex?
Ummmm. Seriously. What do you even say to that?
